While you’re here, we want you to relax. You’re in a safe place. We have a passion for the arts, so music, drama and media are a big part of the way we communicate. Whether you’ve never been in church before or you’re a seasoned church veteran, you can anticipate an encouraging experience in a service designed to be relevant to your life.
From the beginning, our church has been established on a foundation of relationships. Since 1987, our church family has grown from a small group of 3 couples to what you see today. Whatever your circumstances and no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done, you matter to God and to us.

On August 7, 2022, Dave & Macie Ammons and Luke & Megan Turner were officially installed as the Lead Pastors of Oaktown Church (formerly Cathedral of Praise). After founding pastor Mike Lewis retired, these two couples were the clear and natural choice to lead the next era of ministry. Megan and Macie—Pastor Mike’s daughters—along with their husbands Luke and Dave, had already served faithfully on staff for more than two decades. As dynamic visionaries, the four of them are now guiding the congregation with grace, unity, and fresh vision into the future.
